Kati recently launched Caliber Fine Properties in Cashiers, North Carolina, with a keen understanding of the intricacies in the fields of real estate and a deep appreciation for this corner of Western North Carolina and its people. Her firm was founded on two simple principles: quality of character and the highest degree of excellent and ability. From collaborating with architects and designers on large-scale projects, thinking outside the box for sellers to develop customized listing strategies, to meetings with contractors and vendors to manage due diligence – it’s unquestionable you can count on Kati to go the extra mile.

Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kati graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Communications. After college, she took a position in banking, serving as a branch manager for First Union Bank, which was later acquired by Wachovia. After several years in banking, she decided to begin her real estate career in Charlotte with  Pappas Properties. There she helped launch a mixed-use community in the Queen City’s Uptown neighborhood marketing luxury condominiums. She credits that experience with giving her the skills and drive to relocate to Cashiers in 2009 and grow a strong residential real estate brokerage career.

Kati’s dedication to the discreet and ethical representation of buyers and sellers has been a cornerstone to building her reputation as a top producer in the Highlands-Cashiers market. In addition to a busy career, Kati is married with two children, Charlotte and Thomas, who attend Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. Her husband, Cory, has his own custom home building company and is one of the preferred builders at GlenCove. “Throughout my life, I’ve been passionate about serving others.
